GHK-Cu

Laboratory, animal and limited formulation-specific human research

UNDERSTAND IT SIMPLY

What is GHK-Cu?

GHK-Cu is a very small peptide that naturally binds to copper. Copper is used in many normal biological processes. Researchers study GHK-Cu because it may participate in signals connected with the material surrounding cells, tissue remodeling and skin or hair biology.

Much of the research comes from cells, animals or specific cosmetic formulations. Those studies help scientists understand possible mechanisms, but they cannot automatically predict what will happen in a person. Results can change with concentration and formulation. FDA reviewers have also identified limited human safety information for injectable GHK-Cu.

HUMAN EVIDENCE

What human research has reported.

Most findings are laboratory, animal or formulation-specific.

  • No reliable positive human outcome has been established for injectable GHK-Cu.

These are group-level study observations—not promises, instructions or personal predictions. Benefits, side effects, study design and uncertainty must be considered together.
