UNDERSTAND IT SIMPLY
What is Snap-8?
Snap-8, also called acetyl octapeptide-3, is a synthetic chain of eight amino acids used mainly in cosmetic research. It is designed around a laboratory idea involving signals connected with small muscle movements that contribute to facial expression lines.
Researchers may test it in cells or specific topical formulations and measure skin-surface appearance. A result from one finished cream does not prove that an isolated ingredient or different formulation will do the same thing. Concentration, skin delivery and other ingredients all matter, so evidence remains limited and formulation-specific.
